The three components of
"Lumi-reflecting skin"

Clarity
Translucency suggestive of a moonlit glow, and as clear and smooth as the surface of a placid body of water.

Smoothness
Surface quality as smooth to the touch as silk.

Luminosity
Like rays of sunlight falling through the lush leaves upon a photo-shoot, the particles of sunlight reflected on your skin gives it a natural radiance.
Stratum corneum,
a key to
Lumi-reflecting skin
Stratum corneum
The outermost layer of the skin, stratum corneum, consists of corneocytes arranged in an orderly structure with intercellular lipids filling the spaces between the cells.
Despite its delicate thickness of just 0.02 mm—half that of tomato skin—it plays a crucial role in skin health. This layer helps retain hydration, keeping the skin moisturized, while providing a protective barrier against dryness, UV rays, and irritants.

“Maintaining the stratum corneum
in good condition is essential
for achieving lumi-reflecting skin”

Moisture, oil, and natural moisturizing factors (NMF) are essential for keeping the skin hydrated. Balancing these elements keeps the stratum corneum healthy, leading to a normal skin cycle that renews and sheds cells naturally. This healthy cycle helps achieve luminous, radiant skin.

Replenishing and Polishing,
A unique stratum
corneum care
with ALBION's Balancing Milk

Replenishing
ALBION Balancing Milk contains skin-beautifying ingredients that closely resemble the ideal balance of moisture, oil, and NMF found in the stratum corneum.
The best time to replenish the skin is right after washing your face. Apply balanced moisture immediately to create the ideal stratum corneum, resulting in a visibly positive change.
Polishing
ALBION Balancing Milk also promotes the exfoliation of dead skin cells by hydrating the stratum corneum, boosting the activity of desquamation enzymes.
A dry environment decreases the activity of desquamation enzymes, often resulting in skin problems. Therefore, increasing the moisture content of the stratum corneum through skincare is an important step for achieving lumi-reflecting skin.

Tips to maximize
the polishing effect
ALBION Balancing Milk is best applied with 3 pumps on ALBION Cotton. This optimal amount ensures not only coverage of the skin's surface but also effective penetration throughout the entire stratum corneum. Additionally, ALBION's specially designed cotton pads enhance the product's performance, maximizing its benefits.
ALBION’s
“Milk First”
Method
What the skin needs right after face wash is the moisture that the skin originally has. ALBION Balancing Milk is made with a balance of moisture close to that of the stratum corneum in order to deliver the moisture your face needs after cleansing and create a well moisturized stratum corneum.
